We are a Central Otago owned and run company based near Alexandra in the stunning Central Otago countryside.

Shaun McLellan is the owner of Artisan Schist Ltd. He has been a stone mason all his working life. In his time he has successfully completed contracts for numerous large construction companies, The Department of Conservation here in New Zealand, as well projects for the National Trust in the UK and he also worked for The Sultan of Brunei. His heart though lies in Central Otago with his family… and his favourite part of the world!
